FORMIA Awarded Prestigious LEED Green Building Certification

FORMIA, the international airline amenity specialist, is proud to announce that its new Hong Kong head office has been awarded the LEED Gold certification.

LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), is the most widely used green building rating system in the world and an international symbol of excellence. Through design, construction and operations practices that improve environmental and human health, LEED-certified buildings are helping to make the world more sustainable.

Earning a very high Gold with 77 points, this places FORMIA as one of less than 200 sites in Hong Kong to achieve Gold level certification. As part of their submission, FORMIA received 100% of the available points for water & energy efficiency and Asian regional priorities – demonstrating FORMIA’s continued commitment towards improving efficiency, lowering carbon emissions and creating a more sustainable workplace for its people.
