FORMIA is WELL Certified™ Gold, continuing its holistic commitment to people and planet

Hong Kong, 13 August 2025 — FORMIA is proud to announce that its Hong Kong headquarters has been awarded the prestigious WELL Certification at the Gold level by the International WELL Building Institute™ (IWBI). This recognition positions FORMIA among just 20 companies in Hong Kong and 22,000 locations worldwide that have achieved this level of WELL Certification, marking a significant milestone in the company's ongoing commitment to healthier, more sustainable workplaces.
The WELL Certification reinforces FORMIA's science-backed commitment to employee well-being and sustainable business practices, reflecting a holistic approach that spans environmental performance, health, and safety. Key highlights of FORMIA's office environment include:
- Air quality that outperforms baseline standards by 93%, supported by advanced filtration systems.
- Circadian rhythm lighting that mimics natural daylight to enhance energy, focus, and sleep quality.
- Continuous innovation, with live sensors monitoring and optimising air quality in real-time, earning FORMIA a score of 90% in WELL's Innovation category.
This achievement builds on FORMIA's LEED Gold Certification, awarded in October 2024, and its EcoVadis Bronze Medal, received in April 2025, marking another milestone in FORMIA's commitment to environmental leadership and positive social impact.
"Achieving WELL Gold is not just about office design—it's a reflection of FORMIA's broader commitment to embedding sustainability and well-being into the fabric of our business. We believe that driving positive change through conscious design, a responsible supply chain, and meaningful partnerships ultimately benefits our people, partners, and the planet," said Roland Grohmann, CEO & Managing Partner.
The WELL framework focuses on 10 key concepts, Air, Water, Nourishment, Light, Movement, Thermal Comfort, Sound, Materials, Mind, and Community, all of which guide FORMIA's ongoing efforts to create spaces that support health, comfort, and sustainability.
